In this workshop I will teach you the basics to get started with:
1) basic asanas (postures) that will start the process of opening and strengthening your body
2) a specific 'ujjayi' breathing technique that will start the process of purifying your body and your mind by calming down the nervous system and by creating inner heat
3) drishti (gazing point), a tool used in ashtanga yoga for the purpose of controlling the mind
4) vinyasa, a method of combining the breath and the movement which creates a flow in the practice, transforming this physical practice into a meditative one
Ashtanga Vinayasa Yoga is a powerful tool for physical, mental and emotional health but like with any other tool, you need to learn how to use it. Join me on this workshop to get started.
